Along with his wife Allison, Eric is a principle performing member of the award winning Philadelphia based Give & Take Jugglers (Best of Philly 2019!). A former Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey trapeze clown and graduate of their renown Clown College program (Class of 1988 Yo!), he is also an accomplished tight wire walker with the Funicular Circus, as well as the tight wire instructor at the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts.
Eric is also the Director of AirPlay Entertainment!, the professional circus and variety performers agency run through the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts. With a roster of the highest caliber talent in the region, AirPlay has a truly impressive resume of top shelf corporate and social events, as well as providing school assembly programs and walk-around / mingle artists for a wide range of functions.
One of my favorite things is to bring circus and circus elements into social settings where it usually isn’t expected. It’s a joy to watch people react to performances up close and personal and so out of context. Here is a general gallery of random photos from various installations and events over the years, with a wild cast of characters from events I’ve produced, directed, performed in, or otherwise facilitated. My wife says I should have a business card that reads “Facilitator of Circus Awesomeness!” but I’m not sure who I would give it to.
All of the following photos were taken by me except for the photo of the 2 goth stilt walkers which was taken by the Mutter Museum staff at the annual Halloween Masquerade Ball at the world famous Mutter Museum.
